What Awaits You Here
In this blog, I take you with me on my journey as a photographer – honest, unpolished, and full of real moments.
You’ll find small adventures, travel stories, the highs and lows of my creative everyday life, and the thoughts that arise when you’re standing somewhere between joy, chaos, and inspiration with a camera in your hand.
I’ll show you the stories behind my images and the people I meet along the way – without filters, without perfectionism, but with a lot of heart.
At the same time, I want to inspire and support you: with experiences, tips, and impulses for your own photographic path.
If you’re looking for genuine insights and atmospheric images, you’ve come to the right place.
Welcome to my journey.

When Images Suddenly Began to Mean Something
Not everyone grows up with a clear plan to one day become a photographer. A camera at twelve, a crystal-clear dream in sight – none of that applied to me. Quite the opposite, really.
I went through many chapters – the military, chemistry, further training, jobs that had far more to do with organization than creativity. And yet, there were always these quiet moments somewhere between everyday life, work, and travel when a scene simply… struck me. A beam of light, a landscape, or a fleeting instant.
This is where it began – something that, in hindsight, meant far more than I could have imagined at the time.

When Snapping Pictures Became Photography
Sometimes a new phase – or a new chapter – doesn’t begin with a grand plan or deep thoughts, but with something small, ordinary, and seemingly insignificant.
It was exactly such a moment that marked the beginning of real learning. The point at which casual snapshots slowly turned into intentional photography.
Not because everything suddenly worked out – quite the opposite. Some of my biggest setbacks happened during this time. But it was precisely these mistakes that shaped me more than any successful image ever could. They became the start of a learning curve steeper than anything I had experienced before – and the beginning of something that still means a great deal to me today.
This is where the first conscious gaze emerged – long before I knew where it would eventually lead me.
